Program Notes:

Every year, the pilgrimage season in July and August is the happiest and most
awaited day for apprentices of the International Rigdzin Buddhist Association.
 

We set off from Chengdu in the early morning on the bumpy yet beautiful road all the way to reach the Rigdzin Meditation Center in the Jinma’s Grassland of Seda at an altitude of more than 4,300 meters. We hang the prayer flags on the Xiang Xun Mountain. We go to Saintda Palace of Liberation to hang flowers and offer the Hada and brush the White Pagoda as well. We visit the Larung Gar Buddhist Academy to turn around the mandala and worship at the Danqing Medicine King Divine Mountain. We also scatter the FengMa and light the ten thousand bright lamps. We make a common vow in front of the wax statue of Jigme Phuntsok that we would benefit sentient beings like our mother in all lifetimes. We embark on the pilgrimage together. We have walked together on the path of pursuing liberation, letting go of the strong greed, anger, foolishness, slowness, and doubt in our hearts, searching for the wisdom and compassion in our hearts, igniting the fire of life, and moving forward without fear of danger. We look forward to every happy time of the pilgrimage season, and we also look forward to walking on the path of spiritual pilgrimage for all lifetimes.

    每年 7、8 月的朝圣季都是国际持明佛学会师兄们最开心、最盼望的日子。
    凌晨从成都出发，一路颠簸，一路美景到达了色达金马草原海拔 4300 多
米的持明禅修中心.我们去香熏宝山挂经幡，去圣达解脱宫挂鲜花、献哈达，
刷白塔。我们去五明佛学院转绕坛城，去丹钦神山大礼拜，撒风玛，点燃
万盏明灯。我们在法王如意宝蜡像前共同发愿：生生世世，利益如母有情。
    我们共同踏上朝圣之旅，我们已共同走在追求解脱的道路上，放下心中强
烈的贪、嗔、痴、慢、疑，寻找本我心中的智慧与慈悲，点燃生命之火，
不畏险阻，一直向前。我们期待每一个朝圣季幸福的时光，也期待生生世
世恒时走在心灵朝圣的路上。
